Andar Bahar or Mang Patta or Katti is a popular Indian card game played with a single deck. Before the betting begins, the dealer shuffles cuts the deck, and uncovers one card as ‘Joker’. There are 2 betting sides which are named ‘Andar’ and ‘Bahar’. You must rightly assume which side the ‘Joker’ card will come to win the bet.
BASIC RULES OF THE GAME
The game begins when the Joker card is revealed. You have a choice to wager the ‘1st Bet’ either on Andar or Bahar. Cards are dealt on Bahar firstly and then on Andar. If the 1st card dealt on Bahar is the Joker then all the bets on Bahar will get paid twenty-five percent of the bet and Andar will lose. If the 1st card for Andar is the Joker then all the bets on Andar will get paid even money and Bahar will lose.
After one card is drawn on both of the sides and the Joker is not revealed then the dealer will declare to wager on the ‘2nd Bet’. Now you have a choice to wager the second Bet. If the 1st card of the second ‘Bahar’ bet is a Joker then all 2nd bets on Bahar will get paid twenty-five percent of the bet and the first bet on Bahar will get paid even.
